how organists find their instruments (northrop organ part 1)

When you're an organist, you get to do some really cool things. One of the coolest is crawling around some of the greatest old buildings in the world to find your instrument!

Many people don't realize that the part of the organ that has the keyboards and the bench doesn't actually produce any sound. Only the pipes in a pipe organ do that! Those pipes, however, are often really far away from the keyboards!

This is an organ console. It ideally, it won't make any noise:
